Foreign Exchange Service

Community is introducing its Foreign Exchange Service on Friday, November 20, 2026. With Community’s Foreign Exchange Service, customers will be able to send wires abroad:

  • In over 100 currencies, including:
    • Mexican pesos;
    • Canadian dollars;
    • Euros;
    • British pounds; and
    • Japanese yen.
  • Without hidden fees
  • That are delivered in 1-2 business days or, in some cases, the same day

Foreign Exchange Service rates

  • $7.00: up to $2,500.00
  • $14.00: $2,501.00 and up

*A few years ago, the Federal Reserve ended its Direct to Europe foreign currency wire service. It is also ending its Directo a México program. Community’s Foreign Exchange Service will replace both programs.

**Currently, the Polish złoty is not supported by this program. Customers can instead wire euros or dollars to Poland instead.
